Our recruitment process has historically consisted of an Info Session and a bootcamp during the first week of the semester, then one week for applicants to build a web app from scratch or to complete additional features of the bootcamp project, and the third week is when the interviews take place.
Our application period for Spring 2020 is now closed.
Reach out to our team via email to get started with the application process. We'd love to hear more about your organization and potential project ideas as it will help us get an initial sense of your organization's goals, needs, and expectations while you progress through the application process.
Hack4Impact was created in 2014 by a group of passionate students and friends with a dream to help nonprofits through technology. Since then, we've become experts on how to do so with a community of 11 other chapters. With our experience, we believe we can help you do good faster, easier, and morally conscious to make sure you are truly having an impact.
Meeting frequency is very dependent on the team and client. Generally, teams hold weekly or biweekly meetings with their clients. Other checkpoints include initial calls to scope out and define the project with our project leads, an MVP demo, and a Final Handoff presentation.
Projects are scoped by the semester/quarter system. Depending on the size and complexity of the project, we add semesters/quarters to accompany the project. Every semester, we iteratively produce at least an MVP. To learn more about your specific project, you can email [email protected]
